Since the 1980's, we've taken the lead in voluntary waste reductions, disclosing emissions data and waste clean up. Among other efforts, in carpet fiber alone:
- We developed the innovative technology to capture nitrous oxide during nylon manufacture--five years ahead of the rest of the industry.
- We converted 1,500 acres at our Pensacola, FL, plant --- the world's largest nylon manufacturing facility --- into one of our many wildlife preserves.
