Most nylon yarns are manufactured in several lusters. These include bright, semi-bright, semi-dull and dull. The carpet texture may be enhanced by selecting the correct luster, but it should be remembered that bright luster reveals soiling and traffic patterns. For most commercial applications, a mid-luster level will provide the desired textural effect without diminishing the overall appearance of the interior.
