Pre dyed simply means to dye the fiber before the carpets are tufted. There are five methods for adding color before the tufting process. The actual process chosen depends on the blend of yarn, and the color and style of the carpet desired. The five methods are: skein dyeing, package dyeing, space dyeing, stock dyeing and solution dyeing.
