Tufted carpet continues to be the most popular, economical and versatile method of carpet manufacturing for both commercial and residential uses. Fusion bonded carpet is another process used primarily for commercial carpet and features superior tuft lock in cut pile carpet constructions. There are also needle loomed carpets, which are used in limited quantities for commercial and residential applications.
